3 Steps to your Dream Goal
This is a 3-step winning formula to get you moving towards making your dream goals a reality! If you use this system every single day you will be amazed at how the pieces to your dreams start to appear. It takes faith, self- reflection, consistency, and action to produce results. There are 2 types of people out there, one type of person that’s going to read this and feel inspired and say “that was great!”. The second type of person who is going to put into action everything I say and watch the results start to come in. In order to make your dreams come into reality, I believe it’s a 50% mental shift and 50% practical action. It’s not just about visioning or meditating, it’s also about the work that we put in that brings us closer and closer to living our dream life.
Write down what do you really want for yourself? What is your dream goal? Put it on a sticky note somewhere you can see every day.
Do you want to know yourself as a parent that prepares your children for the life skills to thrive in this fast-paced, stress-filled world?
Imagine feeling connected to your inner-peace and confident in the resolution next time your children are screaming.
Picture yourself in the mirror, adoring your body.
Can you feel yourself in your dream job or in your dream relationship filled with gratitude?
Most importantly after you write down what you want for yourself, ask yourself WHY DO YOU WANT THIS?
We all want something, and the reason why we want something is to feel a certain way. Ask yourself if there is anything you can do today to make you feel that way? This will allow you to feel as if you already have what you want which will make you a magnet for what you want.
ex: I want to positively impact 1,000 children within the next 6 months. Therefore my why is because I would feel purposeful and so joyful.
2. Internal battles
Journal whats stopping you from your dream goal? Let’s focus on all the internal battles versus the outside battles. Because the outside battles start to shift when you work on your internal battles.
ex: fear, self-sabotage, limiting beliefs, self-doubt, getting overwhelmed by figuring out the “how”, controlling the ‘why” or way your dream unfolds.
Let’s re-wire those patterns by saying, ” I choose to believe that..”. Write down statements to re-wiring your thought process. Stick them on the wall and say them out loud every single day.
Ask yourself who do you need to become in order to make my dream goal come to life? Write down specifically how you choose to see yourself, the words you say, the actions you take, the clothes you wear, and people that are in your life. Put them on your wall to remind yourself of who you are choosing to be every single day.
Take 1-3 action steps today to make your dream a reality.
Considering what I’m calling in is already done, what am I choosing to do right now? What I choose to do today will accelerate the process of me making my dreams a reality.
Remember this isn’t a 1-2-3 easy fix, this is a process that takes time, so enjoy the journey. If you don’t enjoy the journey, then don’t enjoy the journey. It is your choice and I hope you choose to have fun and make the best of every situation.
